2011 Ranking: 2nd place in northern division in regular season. Losing the top spot in the northern division of the German Baseball-Bundesliga to the Untouchables Paderborn, the Solingen Alligators recovered from a struggling start into the 2011 season and secured the number-two seed in the north. In the playoffs they eliminated the Mainz Athletics in four games in the quarterfinals. In the semi-finals they fell in three games against the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg.
