We continue our review series of Europe’s baseball leagues after the Netherlands and Italy with the German Baseball-Bundesliga.

Mannheim Tornados

2011 Record: 19-13 (including playdowns)
2011 Ranking: 5th place in southern division. The Mannheim Tornados had a terrible season defensively and ended up missing the playoffs as fifth-ranked team in the south.

Runs Allowed: 179 (5th)

Best Batter: Ian O’Connor. The American shortstop batted .410/.510/.518 with one homerun, four doubles, 28 runs and 15 RBI in 22 games.
