2011 Ranking: 3rd place in northern division after regular season. After a second winter full with investments the Bonn Capitals reached the playoffs easily in third place. In the quarterfinals they blew a 2-0 lead against the Heidenheim Heidekoepfe, but prevailed in five games to advance into the semi-finals. Against division rival Untouchables Paderborn Bonn lost in four games to end the season.
