2011 in Review – Czech Extraleague – Kotlarka Prague

After taking a statistical look back in Baseball in the Netherlands, Italy, Germany and Spain, we’re now bringing the Czech Extraleague to the plate.

Kotlarka Prague

2011 Record: 25-10
2011 Ranking: 2nd place after regular season in Extraleague. Entering the league in 2010 with an even 14-14 record, Kotlarka Prague made the next step one year later, improving to 15 games over .500 and battling with AVG Draci Brno for first place all season long. In the semi-finals against Technika Brno they captured the first game, but lost the series in four to end the year.

Runs Allowed: 167 (2nd)

Best Batter: Petr Sila. He batted .433/.548/.567 with nine doubles, 22 runs and 14 RBI in 18 games for Kotlarka in 2011.
