2011 in Review – Spanish Division de Honor – CB Viladecans

We’ve led off our statistical reviews of the 2011 season in Europe’s baseball leagues with the Netherlands, Italy and Germany. In the clean-up spot the Spanish Division de Honor.

2011 Ranking: 4th place in Division de Honor. The record champion in Spanish Baseball is slowly getting back towards the top ranks in the top league in the country. CB Viladecans finished the 2011 season in 4th place, trailing second by just two games. They lost just one of the last 14 games.

Best Batter: Denny de Jesus Nino. The former minor leaguer batted .336/.468/.508 with four homeruns, nine doubles, 24 runs and 28 RBI in 36 games.
