Under-12 Baseball World Cup Day 6 Results

Posted on July 30, 2025August 4, 2025 by Gabriel Fidler

The final day of round robin play at the Under-12 Baseball World Cup in Taiwan served as a make-up for the two games postponed by rain. The net result was that one of the two unbeaten teams was removed, as Mexico held off a late rally to defeat Japan, 7-6. Elsewhere, Cuba took out its frustrations for a slow start to the U12 World Cup with a 19-2 drubbing of Australia.

The outcome of the two games was that Group A finished with a three-way tie for first place, with all three teams advancing to the Super Round. The trio will take on South Korea, the U.S.A., and the Dominican Republic for the Under-12 world championship.

Cuba, Australia, and Germany will join Panamá, Czech Republic, and South Africa in the Consolation Round, with play beginning tomorrow. South Africa will take on Germany, while the Czechs will face Australia. The other game sees the two teams from the Americas, Panamá and Cuba, match up.

Group B Standings
