Posted on July 27, 2025July 29, 2025 by Gabriel Fidler

Germany kept things close against Australia on the third day of the Under-12 Baseball World Cup, but ultimately took the loss, as did Czech Republic and South Africa.

Deutschland Baseball’s U12 boys kept the deficit against the Aussies to 2-1 through three and 6-2 through five, but a three-run sixth from Australia was too much for Germany, with a final of 9-2. Earlier in the day, the U.S. no-hit South Africa, 26-0, while South Korea also held Czech Republic hitless in a 14-0 defeat for the Europeans.

The day began with a thrilling 3-0 victory for Mexico over Cuba in Group A, while Japan upset Taiwan, the only Asian champions at the U12 level, with a strong 7-2 outing. In the other Group B gane, the Dominican Republic bested Panamá, 10-3.
