The Czech Republic tested the mighty U.S.A. in the first game of the second day of the Under-12 Baseball World Cup, but ultimately took the loss, 6-0. In the next contest Germany faced a strong Mexican team, which no-hit its European opponents, though Germany did manage a run in the 9-1 loss. In Game Three, Panamá defeated South Africa, 11-1, though the score was at only 5-1 heading into the bottom of the sixth.
The other games of the day saw Japan fend off Cuba, 4-0 and Taiwan one-hit Australia, 13-0, both in Group A. In the final Group B matchup, South Korea won 8-3 over the D.R.
