2011 in Review – Czech Extraleague – AVG Draci Brno

After taking a statistical look back in Baseball in the Netherlands, Italy, Germany and Spain, we’re now bringing the Czech Extraleague to the plate.

2011 Record: 28-7
2011 Ranking: 1st place after regular season in Extraleague. After a whopping 16 titles in a row, the dynasty of AVG Draci Brno came to a halt. After winning the regular season with a 28-7 record and a semi-finals sweep over the Eagles Prague, the Dragons lost the championship series in four games against Technika Brno.

Runs Allowed: 126 (1st)

Best Batter: Martin Schneider. He batted .397/.516/.651 with seven homeruns, 16 doubles, 54 runs scored and 31 RBI in 42 games this past season.
