2011 Ranking: 7th place in northern division. Baseball at the top level in the German capital was back in 2011, as the Berlin Sluggers made the step into the Baseball-Bundesliga. After a disappointing regular season, which saw only four wins in 28 games, the Sluggers profited a little bit of the dismantling Pulheim Gophers, improved to 11-29 and secured their spot in the 2012 campaign.

Best Batter: Kellen Kmiecik. The American joined the Sluggers after the season started and he quickly emerged as a key player without dominating. He went .242/.417/.403 with two homeruns, four doubles, ten runs and nine RBI in 21 games.
