2011 in Review – French Elite League – Templiers Senart

We start the new year with the continuation of our review series. After Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and the Czech Republic, we are entering French territory.

Templiers Senart

2011 Record: 22-6
2011 Ranking: 1st place in French Elite League following regular season. One year before inaugurating the new ballpark in Senart, the Templiers impressed with strong play during the regular season, capturing first place following the preliminary phase of the championship. However in the semi-finals the Montpellier Barracudas blitzed and eliminated them in four games.
Runs Scored: 221 (4th)
Runs Allowed: 122 (2nd)

Best Batter: Kevin Atkinson. He batted .418/.515/.797 with seven homeruns, a triple, seven doubles, 27 runs scored and 38 RBI in 21 games.
