2010 Ranking: 2nd place in southern division of Baseball-Bundesliga after regular season. During the playoffs the defending champion Heidenheim Heidekoepfe swept series against the Bonn Capitals and Solingen Alligators to reach the final series against the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg, where they overcame a 0-2 deficit, but still lost in five games. The Heidekoepfe also had a successful season at the European stage, qualifying for the European Champions Cup Final Four in Barcelona, where they also reached the finals to lose in ten innings against UGF Fortitudo Bologna.
