Even though we already started the year 2010, we will continue to look back at the 2009 season in Europe’s elite leagues. After the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic , Sweden and Austria we will continue with the French Elite League.

Savigny Lions

2009 Record: 15-13
2009 Ranking: Fourth place in French Elite League after regular season. During the playoffs Savigny won seven out of nine games and advanced to the French Finals, where they lost in four games against the Rouen Huskies.

Best Batter: Pierrick Lemestre. He batted .350 (OBP .476/SLG .470) with one homerun, one triple, seven doubles, 27 runs scored and 15 RBI in 27 games.
