2009 in Review – French Elite League – Montpellier Barracudas

Even though we already started the year 2010, we will continue to look back at the 2009 season in Europe’s elite leagues. After the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic , Sweden and Austria we will continue with the French Elite League.

Montpellier Barracudas

2009 Record: 21-5
2009 Ranking: Second place in French Elite League after the regular season. In the playoffs the Barracudas won four of nine games and missed the finals in third place.

Runs Allowed: 100

Best Batter: Denis Kelly. He batted .411 (OBP .463/SLG .607) with one homerun, five triples, eight doubles, 29 runs scored and 23 RBI in 24 games.
