2009 in Review – Belgian First Division – Namur Angels

Even though we already started the year 2010, we will continue to look back at the 2009 season in Europe’s elite leagues. After the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic , Sweden, Austria and France we will continue with the Belgian First Division.

Namur Angels

2009 Record: 19-8
2009 Ranking: Tied for first place in Belgian First Division after regular season. During the playoffs the Angels only won two out of twelve games to finish fourth in the semi-final round behind the Pioneers, Greys and Braves.
Runs Scored: 157
Runs Allowed: 88

Best Batter: Henry Perkins. He batted .486 (OBP .541/SLG .694) with two homeruns, two triples, five doubles, 22 runs scored and 17 RBI in 85 plate appearances.
