2009 in Review – Italian Baseball League – Cariparma Parma

During the next couple of weeks, maybe months, we are going to look back at the 2009 season. We started with the Dutch Hoofdklasse. Next up: the Italian Baseball League.

Cariparma Parma

2009 Record: 24-18
2009 Ranking: 4th Place in Italian Baseball League. They qualified for the semi-final round robin, where they won just two out of nine games and missed out on the Italian Championship Series. In the Coppa Italia Tournament CARIPARMA won their first series against DE ANGELIS GODO in two games, but lost in the second-phase finals in three games against TELEMARKET RIMINI.

Best Batter: Davide Dallospedale. He batted .331 (OBP .454/SLG .426) with two homeruns, eight doubles, 29 runs scored and 17 RBI in his first season for PARMA.
