2009 in Review – Italian Baseball League – De Angelis Godo

During the next couple of weeks, maybe months, we are going to look back at the 2009 season. We started with the Dutch Hoofdklasse. Next up: the Italian Baseball League.

2009 Ranking: 7th Place in Italian Baseball League. GODO qualified for the second round of the Coppa Italia thanks to a 3-3 record in the first phase. They were eliminated by CARIPARMA in two games.

Best Batter: Lino Connell. The Venezuelan, who later played in the IBAF Baseball World Cup, batted a third-best .354 (OBP .452/SLG .513) with five homeruns, 27 runs scored and 24 RBI in 42 games.
