Streaming Schedule, German Bundesliga (June 3 – June 4)

Posted on June 3, 2021 by MrBB

Germany’s Ben’s Bundesliga
A number of Bundesliga clubs will take advantage of the June 3 public holiday and will suit up on Thursday, with one match-up in the South and a doubleheader in the North.

In the South, the Munich-Haar Disciples (9-11) host the Heidenheim  Heideköpfe (19-1). The Disciples, who got off to a rough 1-5 start, are currently just one game behind the Mannheim Tornados for the fourth and final playoff spot in the South. They swept the Mainz Athletics last weekend and will hope to keep the momentum alive against a Heidenheim squad that has impressed with both strong pitching (3.49 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, 10.5 K/9) and the league’s leading offense (.342/.500/.603, 39 HR, 75 SB).

In the North, the Bonn Capitals (2-0) travel to Solingen (4-0) for a doubleheader tussle between the division’s two undefeated clubs. The Capitals, champions of the Bundesliga North in five of the past six seasons and the 2018 Bundesliga champion, debuted in impressive fashion last weekend, bashing five home runs and collecting 17 hits in an 18-3 victory over the Dortmund Wanderers. An easy 9-0 victory followed in Game Two.  The Alligators have gotten off to a strong start as well, with a team slash line of .331/.442/.552 in their four victories.

On Friday evening, action in the Bundesliga South continues with the Stuttgart Reds hosting the winless Ulm Falcons. The Reds have outscored the Falcons 44-5 in their two meetings this season and will match up against the Falcons again on Saturday.
