Like last year we’re taking a look back at the performances by the Europeans who played in affiliated minor league ball in the United States in 2010.

Throws/Bats: Left/Left
Organization: Cincinnati Reds
Position: Pitcher

2010 Season: Hindered by an injury Luca Panerati didn’t open the 2010 season before July. He started his third professional season with the Arizona Summer League affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, where the 21-year-old southpaw went 0-1 with an ERA of 3.38 in seven relief appearances. He got promoted to the Billings Mustangs in August and allowed just two hits in five innings through three more games until September, picking up his lone win of the year. Overall he had an ERA of 2.45 in ten games. He struck out 21 batters in 18 1/3 innings, walking five.
