2010 Season: Dovydas Neverauskas became the first Lithuanian minor leaguer when he signed a contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2009. The 17-year-old right-handed pitcher made his professional debut in the Gulf Coast League this summer. In ten innings through six relief appearances he allowed six runs on 14 hits and five walks, while striking out six.
