Prospects in 2010 – Björn Hato – DSL Mets



Like last year we’re taking a look back at the performances by the Europeans who played in affiliated minor league ball in the United States in 2010.

Birth Date: 06/26/1991 in the Netherlands
Throws/Bats: Right/Right
Organization: New York Mets
Position: Second Base

2010 Season: Signed together with his Kinheim teammate Kevin Weijgertse, Björn Hato also made his professional debut this year, playing for a Mets affiliate in the Dominican Summer League. He manned mainly second base and batted .208 (OBP .378/SLG .221) with one double, 16 runs and eight RBI in 39 games in his first season.
