Gaspard Fessy joins Templiers Senart

Outfielder Gaspard FESSY leaves Barcelona and to sign a contract with Templiers Senart. This was published on Thursday on their website. His roster spot in Catalonia was filled this week, when they had signed Gil KIM.

FESSY is 24 years old. He hit .313 (OBP .400/SLG .438) with eleven runs scored and eleven RBI in 48 at-bats for Barca last season. He can play every outfield position. He is also a member of the national team. He hit .185 (.258/.296) in eight games last September in the European Championships, finishing fifth with France behind the Netherlands, Great Britain, Spain and Germany.

He grew up in St. Just St. Rambert. FESSY will celebrate his debut in the Senart jersey on March 23 in an exhibition match against Clermont-Ferrand.
