Southpaw Enorbel Marquez-Ramirez is going to join the Heidenheim Heidekoepfe for the 2019 campaign in the German Baseball-Bundesliga. The 44-year-old is coming from ASD Rimini to the reigning vice champion in Germany, where he had an ERA of 2.12 in 17 relief innings last year. In Germany Marquez-Ramirez, who has been a member of the German national team since 2007, had been playing for the Solingen Alligators and Berlin Flamingos. It’s the second coup this offseason by the Heidekoepfe after adding Mike Bolsenbroek of the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg. Fernando Escarra also has joined the team.
