The Zurich Barracudas travelled to Wil to take on the Devils on Saturday and swept the home team Devils 29-2 and 13-2. Simon Steffen making his NLA pitching debut took the mound in game one and went the distance allowing only two hits and two runs to register his first win on the season. In the nightcap, it was Roger Savoldelli who made quick work of the Devils offence to notch his second win on the season. The Barracudas were led offensively by Sam and Nik Diener who both notched their first NLA hits on the weekend. The sweep puts the Barracudas at 3-0 on the season and they will face the Luzern Eagles next week at home in Zurich. The Eagles swept the Barracudas at home last season so the Barracudas will be looking to reverse the trend on Saturday.
