The Stuttgart Reds revealed shortly after New Years that they have re-signed Spanish national teamer Xavi Gonzalez. The Reds are hopeful that the infielder will join the University in Stuttgart and therefore will stay on a long-term basis. Besides playing for the semi-finalist from 2014 Gonzalez also is going to coach the youth with the Reds. He batted .311 in 22 games last year, his first in Germany.
