Two more games of the first round were played at the World Port Tournament 2019 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The selection of former Major and Minor League players defeated Japan 7-2 in the afternoon game at Family Stadium. Five runs in the top of the seventh inning lifted Team USA to the victory. Nick Di Benedetto went 4-for-4 with two RBI to lead the way.

In the evening the Netherlands evened their record with a 4-1 win over Chinese Taipei, which lost for the first time in three games. Three runs in the top of the fifth broke a scoreless tie.
