The Australian team announced today their roster for the upcoming World Cup in Taipei. The 24-man squad features five current and former Major League players (Travis BLACKLEY (Giants), Glenn WILLIAMS (Twins), Justin HUBER (Royals), Brad THOMAS (Twins), Richard THOMPSON (Angels)), seven Olympic silver medallists and overall 22 overseas professionals. They are playing in group B against the Netherlands, Germany, Cuba, Korea, Thailand, Canada and Venezuela. Their goal for the tournament is to finish in the top three.
