On Wednesday Major League Baseball released the schedule for 2013 Spring Training. While the national teams playing in Taichung, Taiwan and Fukuoka, Japan missing out on the opportunity prior to the first round, the other eight teams are warming up for the 2013 World Baseball Classic against MLB teams in Spring Training. From a European standpoint Italy is facing the Oakland Athletics and the Los Angeles Angels, while Spain takes on the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Baltimore Orioles on March 5 and 6.
