The Women’s Softball European Championship in Rosmalen, Netherlands is entering its decisive phase. With Germany shutting out Spain for seventh place in the final standings, the first decision has been in the books.
The round of the top six started with the Netherlands overcoming strong efforts by the Czech Republic and Russia to remain undefeated in the tournament. Italy won twice as well to keep the pace of the Dutch team.
Three more round-robin games are on the schedule on Friday before the page playoffs start in the evening. Meanwhile the next set of classification games – for 13th and 15th place – take place as well. The final games will be available via live stream.
