The Czech Winter League (ZIMNI T-BALLOVA LIGA) is a series of three T-ball tournaments for the category Under-10. The main purpose of the foundation of this indoor league is to interrupt monotonous work-outs and prepare the youngsters better for next year’s main season. This initiative is starting this year in the Prague region and the surrounding area and hopefully will be extended to other regions in the next couple of years.
Tournaments are open for all Under-10 teams without any preference. Participation in the Winter League already was confirmed by the Prague’s “big 4” teams – Eagles Praha, Kotlarka Praha, SaBaT Praha and Tempo Titans Praha plus Lokomotiva Louny, which will also organize the last tournament of the Winter League series. The winner will be decided according standings and results of all three scheduled tournaments.
For the first tournament, which will start on Saturday in Prague at the indoor training facilities of Eagles Praha, are already confirmed eight teams – home team Eagles Praha, Lokomotiva Louny, SaBaT Praha, Tempo Titans Praha, Storms Praha, Sparks Mlade Buky and two teams of Kotlarka Praha.
