Ernesto Martinez (Senart Templiers) is the WEP 4, the third player from the Templiers to get the award so far. After a slow start, he hit a solid 6-for-7 with a double and a homerun versus the Rouen Huskies. His 4 RBI helped his team to split with the seven-time champions.
Martinez began his sixth straight season for Senart Templiers and has played 143 games in French Elite (329AVG, 538SLG, 15 Home Runs, 40 doubles, 105 RBI, 107 runs, 105 BB).
Before his career in France, he played 10 years in Cuba and was a member of the 2002 Cuban championship team when he played with the Cachorros.
