Posted on April 12, 2011April 12, 2011 by philipp

Frederic Hanvi was named WEP3. Hitting a perfect 5/5 during the double header, he led his team to a sweep over the Pessac Panthers with 7 runs and 9 RBI. He added 4 walks, 1 double and 3 homers to his strong 2011 debuts.

Frederic is a 22-year-old French player. Drafted by the Minnesota Twins in 2008 but unfortunately released in November 2010 after 3 minor leagues seasons, he was free and decided to leave Montigny and now plays for Senart Templiers.

He currently leads the league in almost every offensive category (Avg, Slugging, HR, hits and Runs).

In 81 games in the French Elite League, he hit .299AVG with 8 homeruns, 79 runs and 48 RBI.
