WEP 9: Anthony Cros named Player of the Week in France

Anthony Cros (Montpellier Barracudas) is named WEP9. The 26-old player was hot this Sunday with 3 HR, 4 runs and 4 RBI in 8 at bats in the Cougars Stadium ballpark. He hit 2 homeruns in his first two at bats for a morning victory 4-2 and belted another one in his last plate appearance of the second game, during the afternoon, to complete the sweep with a 16-3 win over the Montigny Cougars.

Anthony is playing his best this season, hitting .449 and slugging .918 with 5 doubles, 3 triples and 4 home runs in 14 games.

Playing his 8th season in French Elite, Anthony hits .341, with 94 runs and 60 RBI in 81 games. Last year, he played in pro circuit for Quebec Capitals where he won the title.
