WEP 5: Eric Deblanc named Player of the Week in France

News - French Baseball Leagues Comments Off on WEP 5: Eric Deblanc named Player of the Week in France


With only a matchup between Savigny and Montigny this weekend, Eric Deblanc (Savigny Lions) is the WEP5. In the opposition between Elite’s leaders and Montigny Cougars, he closed the door and stopped Cougars comeback in the 9th for his first save of the year. In game 2, he produced 3 runs with his bat and led the Lions to outscore Montigny 15-3.

After 8 games, the player of Savigny is hitting .324, with 13 runs, 11 RBI and 1 Home Run.

Eric played for Northwestern State University in 2010, where he hit .382/.426/.571 and was named Athlete of the Year.
