Douglas Rodriguez (Paris UC) is called Opening Day WEP1 ! He lead his teamates to their first two wins in 2012 with astonished numbers : 7-for-10, 10RBI, 6R, 1 HR and 2 stolen bases.
Last year, Douglas, a Venezuelian citizen, hit .429 (3rd in the French Elite League), with 21 runs, 15 RBI and 2 HR in spite of limited playing times due to foreign players rules. In his 6th season in France, he is now considered as French player. A big help for his team to advance into the playoffs for the first time since 2003.
