The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) will live-stream all 20 games of the U-18 South American Women’s Softball Championship, which opens today in Parana, Argentina, and will feature the National Junior Softball Teams of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia and Peru.
Audiences worldwide will be able to follow each run, hit and strikeout of the South American Softball Confederation (CONSURSA) youth women’s competition for free via the official WBSC YouTube Channel: www.youtube.com/wbsc.
“Baseball and softball are present on all Olympic continents, and we are committed to showcasing and raising awareness of our sport’s true and growing global footprint, while at the same time providing fans more of the live and engaging content that they are demanding,” said WBSC President Riccardo Fraccari.
Three games per day will be live-streamed from 18-24 March, with the Finals taking place on Friday, 25 May. Game 1, between Brazil and Colombia, will start at 3:30 p.m. local time.
The live-stream coverage will include in-game commentary in Spanish to provide insights into all the action at Nafaldo Cargnel Stadium.
The South American continental tournament will begin with a round robin. The top four squads from the Opening Round will move on to the Semi-Finals on Thursday, 24 May.
