The Australian pitcher Wayne Ough, who already pitched in the Czech Extraleague for AVG Draci Brno in 2009 and 2010, is returning to the Czech Republic. He is going to join reigning champion Technika Brno for the 2012 season. The 33-year-old former minor leaguer took the mound for the Adelaide Bite in the Australian Baseball League this winter, going 2-2 with an ERA of 4.66 in nine games (two starts). Last summer he joined the RiCo Highlanders in the Austrian Baseball League to help during the second half of the season. Technika is additionally talking to Czech hurler Jakub Toufar, who has to find a new home following the withdrawal of Express Brno from the Extraleague.
