Voting for the European Baseball Coaches Association (EBCA) Coach of the Year for 2025 is now open — and both members and the public have a chance to cast a ballot. Three coaches are on the ballot: Jonathan Cramman, Marian Krásný, and Alex Maestri. These three coaches represent, respectively, Great Britain, Czech Republic, and Italy, and each helped a national team win a medal in a European championship.

Information on each candidates is provided in the ballot, and you can cast your vote here [link]. The voting period runs from Oct. 9–18.

“Let’s recognize the dedication, passion, and impact of the coaches who drive our game forward,” noted the EBCA press release. ‘Thank you for being part of the EBCA community and for helping us honor excellence in coaching.’

Voting for the award is made up of three parts, with public votes factored into the final decision, which also includes ballots cast by EBCA Members, whose vote carries more weight than public votes, and the decision of the EBCA Board.

Do not miss your chance to shape this important award — and join the EBCA in Antwerp to celebrate the winner. The Coach of the Year Award will be presented at the EBCA Convention 2025, taking place in Antwerp, Belgium, Nov. 7–9, 2025.
