Vienna Metrostars win Austrian Baseball League 2014

The Vienna Metrostars have won the 2014 championship in the Austrian Baseball League. They defeated the Dornbirn Indians 10-0 and 10-0 in games six and seven this weekend to turn around the best-of-seven final series. It’s their first title in Austrian Baseball since the 2003 season. JT Hilliard and Jakob Simonsen kept Dornbirn scoreless in both ends of the doubleheader to clinch the championship.
