Posted on August 20, 2010 by philipp

On Tuesday the Vienna Metrostars beat the Stock City Cubs 11-9 in a make-up game and improved their record to 11-13. They are now two games behind the Schwaz Tigers in fourth place with four games to go in the regular season of the Austrian Baseball League. This weekend they will square off with the Schwechat Blue Bats in fifth place. Next Tuesday the second part of the twin bill against the Cubs will follow. The Tigers on the other hand have a tough assignment, as they host the leading Vienna Wanderers. Additionally the teams in second and third, the Athletics Attnang-Puchheim and the Union Kufstein Vikings, will face each other. Stock City will play against the Rohrbach Crazy Geese.
