Unipol Bologna has won the Italian Baseball Championship 2019. It’s the 12th scudetto for Fortitudo in team history. Bologna swept the best-of-five final series against T&A San Marino. After prevailing 3-1 and 6-5 in games one and two last weekend, they shut out the Titans 4-0 on Tuesday evening. Raul Rivero struck out 12 in eight strong four-hit innings for the win. Andy Paz provided the first run with a solo shot in the fourth. Three runs in the eighth provided the final blow. Fernando Baez got charged with the loss.
