Umpire Clinic for new International CEB Umpires

International Tournaments Comments Off on Umpire Clinic for new International CEB Umpires

by www.baseballeurope.com

The Confederation of European Baseball (CEB) is organizing an umpire’s clinic for new CEB umpires. That are umpires who are for the first time on the international umpires list of their federation in 2012, 2013 or 2014.

The policy of CEB is that all CEB umpires should have a license and that they therefore have to participate in a CEB clinic.

The clinic will be held in Bratislava (SVK) from Friday April 4 till Sunday April 6, 2014. In the program are elements of the baseball rules, 3-men mechanics and CEB rules.

The working language is English.

For reducing the costs, CEB ask a € 100 entrance fee. The travel expenses are for account of the national federation / participating umpire. The cost for the hotel lodging, meals and instructors is for CEB.

For organizing reasons we need your registration before March 15. We only can organize the clinic with a minimum of 10 (ten) umpires. Withdrawal of the registration after that date will cost € 100 only if CEB decided that the clinic is going on.

Registration can be made to the CEB office (office@baseballeurope.com and a copy to umpire@baseballeurope.com)

Information we need: name of the umpire – email address – age and how many years of umpire experience.

If needed you can get more information by mailing your questions to Paul Bokern, chairman of the umpire commission, at bokern@baseballeurope.com.
