U23 Baseball Euros 2026 Spain Qualifier: Day 2

Posted on August 5, 2026August 7, 2026 by Gabriel Fidler

Nadav Machlin homered twice, driving in six, and Jake Arnow and Tal Dean also went yard for Israel, as it moved to the pole position in Group A of the Under-23 European Baseball Championship B-Pool in Valencia, Spain, while Jakov Belošević launched a round-tripper for Croatia, which had to come from behind against Türkiye, which had a two-run double from Muhammed Alkan. In the day’s other game, Switzerland jumped out to a 6-0 lead with Fynn Himmelsbach firing five shutout innings with six strikeouts, but Greece mounted a big comeback that features a double from Constantine Coines in the bottom of the final frame, falling just short of the upset.
