U15 Baseball Euros 2026 Austria Qualifier: Day 1

One of two qualifiers for the Under-15 European Baseball Championship began today in Schwechat, Austria. The B Pool has four total groups, with two in Austria, and two in Belgium. Group A in the Austrian qualifier consists of Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Russia, while Group B features Belarus, Croatia, Slovakia, and Spain. The top two teams in each pool will advance to the semifinal. Tomorrow, the U15 Baseball Euros Belgium qualifier begins.

The two Group A matches were both blowouts, with Sergei Podolian going yard for Russia and Florian Neulinger launching a round-tripper for Austria. Slovakia and Belarus, however, commenced Group B action with a back-and-forth pitching duel.
