From July 4 to 9, 2016 the U12 European Championship takes place in Trebic, Czech Republic. 11 countries will participate in the first national-team European Championship of the year. The two fields are located next to each other to ensure an intense tournament for players, coaches, fans and officials.
Group A at the U12 Euros consists of defending champion Czech Republic, Austria, Belarus, Poland and Slovakia, Group B of France, Germany, Lithuania, Romania, Russia and Ukraine. From Monday to Friday a round robin will be played within each group. The two pool winners qualify for the finals on Saturday. The 2016 U12 European Championship serves as qualifier for the U12 Baseball World Cup in Tainan City, Taiwan in 2017.
Special rules and regulations and pitch count restrictions will make sure that the safety of the participating children is given the highest possible priority.
