On day four of the U12 European Championship 2018 in Budapest, Hungary Germany and the Czech Republic improved to 4-0 each, while the Netherlands, Italy and France are now 3-0. After a couple of competitive results on Monday, the lopsided games returned on Tuesday. Only one game reached the seven innings with France defeating Poland 16-8. Meanwhile Russia and the Czech Republic won 15-0 apiece. The Netherlands, Germany and Italy simply destroyed their opponents.
Italy and the Netherlands will face each other on Wednesday in a highly anticipated matchup. Afterwards games of Germany versus Italy and the Dutch will follow on Thursday and Friday, which will decide first place in Pool A. In Pool B the Czech Republic and France will meet on Thursday.
