Elias Kraft and Julius Kusch pitched Germany into the semifinals of the Under-12 European Baseball Championship with a combined no-hitter, with Jona Butt launching a longball and a triple in the victory. Kraft faced the minimum through three innings, while Kusch was two defensive errors away from finishing off a perfect game. Elsewhere, Baseball Czechia completed an unbeaten run through pool play thanks to homers by Daniel Hotový and Mikuláš Morávek, despite a plucky French offence that was in the game until the end.
In Group B, Noah Cafferata once more led Italy to a win, this time with two doubles, a single, and four ribbies. Four Italian pitchers combined on a shutout. In a back-and-forth game between Spain and the Netherlands, the latter held a 5-1 lead going into the penultimate inning, when Alessandor Marrero roped a RBI-triple. An inning later, Stefano Viti bounced a two-run single through the left side of the infield against newly entered Link Verboom, but the Dutch closer settled down and got out of the inning to preserve the narrow victory.
The top two seeds from each group will now play each other as Group A No. 1 vs. Group B No. 2 and the reverse, while the remaining four will contest the final four positions.
