U12 Baseball Euros 2026: Day 2

Posted on July 8, 2026 by Gabriel Fidler

Czech Republic posted a statement win to start the second day of action at the Under-12 European Baseball Championship at Pharaons Field in Évry-Courcouronnes, France. Lukáš Kuruc slugged a home run as one of four Baseball Czechia boys with at least three hits, while Camilo Miranda finished a homer short of the cycle, but still hit two doubles, a triple, and a single. In later Group A action, Nico Leone came one out short of a rare youth shutout for Germany against France.

Noah Cafferata plated Italy’s first run with a triple before scoring the Azzurri‘s final two runs on a round-tripper to dead center that completed a five-run final frame against Spain. Later, Dashon Halman homered to lead the Netherlands to a big Group B win.
