#TUTTIPERNICCO: Grosseto Catcher Niccolo Biscontri looking for a Bone Marrow Donor

23-year-old catcher Niccolò Biscontri from Grosseto, Italy, chose a video, #TUTTIPERNICCO, posted on You Tube to search for a bone marrow donor that will allow him to heal from lymphoma, which was discovered last November. He is receiving treatment with chemotherapy at a hospital in Florence.

The movie, produced by his girlfriend Giulia Gori, close friends (starting with Federico Storai and Marta Pianta), his sister Sofia and mom Katia, has had tremendous success, with hundreds of thousands of shares and tweets by famous singers Elisa, Maurizio Costanzo and Elio, Sampdoria Football, and of course, by teammates and insiders of baseball, from Roberto Cabalisti to Mauro Mazzotti.

The video which in less than three minutes summarizes, what has happened to this baseball player, who in his career has won a championship with Junior Grosseto, before playing for Montepaschi BBC Grosseto and Parma in the Italian Baseball League.

The goal of #TUTTIPERNICCO is to find a bone marrow donor that will allow Niccolò to complete his recovery, which is still progressing well. The tumor has shrunk but he needs stem cells to get it permanently removed. Niccolò is experiencing this situation in a positive mood, convinced he can win the most difficult game of his life.
