The Tubingen Hawks are back in the German Baseball-Bundesliga. This weekend the club announced its acquisitions for the 2013 season. For a change the most known player is a Belgian player. Thomas De Wolf, who became the first Belgian player in the Minors when he signed with the New York Mets in 2009, is coming from the Hoboken Pioneers. The 23-year-old will be used as pitcher and center fielder. Additionally the Hawks add Sammy Torreira (formerly Bad Homburg Hornets), Joshua Hodges as starting pitcher in game two, and Clarence Brown (catcher/pitcher). Deontate Hann remains with the club as well.
